This intimate photoshoot captures the artistry of Føø, a Tokyo-based tattoo artist who brings a contemporary twist to traditional Japanese tattoo motifs. Recently inspired by his travels through Europe, especially Berlin, Føø’s style has evolved, blending his Japanese heritage with fresh, modern influences.

For this session, Føø requested to keep his identity private, so we used the ambient lighting and intimate atmosphere of his studio to create dark, moody portraits that reflect his unique style. A traditional Japanese mask adds a mysterious element, highlighting the intricate details of his work while preserving his anonymity. This series offers a rare glimpse into Tokyo’s tattoo scene, combining artistry and storytelling in a way that celebrates both Føø’s vision and cultural roots.
